Trader Joe's flax oil is cheap and comes in a big bottle.  Though it has been a long time since I bought some, so perhaps things have changed.

I don't doubt you, but I didn't have that effect from it myself. Several differences though: I was eating like crap then, I didnt take enough, nor long enough.

I will try again.

I  *did* have an awesome result from fermented cod/butter oil blend, but it costs a *fortune*

The price is much, but I cannot deny the effects: energy, strength/vigor, mental alertness, sound restful sleep.

The mental acuity was the most profound and surprising. I was so 'sharp' and awake through the day!

It's interesting to note that America seemed to go downhill around the time that fats in general were being shunned from the American diet. It actually began quite early, in the 1910's. "Low fat diet" this, "Low fat diet" that.

Here's an article about saturated fats which I think might be interesting to read.

I got some, another brand a few days ago. The first two days I took 2 tablespoons in the morning, but it made me sleepy to the point of needing to lay down or nap for an hour or so. I guess because my body can't process the fat quickly enough? So I took it last night before going to bed and I had a very sound sleep. I'll do that from now on.

I'll give an update in a week and describe what effects, if any, it's had on me. I haven't noticed anything yet.

Have any of you ever tried L-Tyrosine? I hear that helps boost energy and concentration.

I'll have to try that butter that Luvenalis mentioned.
