Here is a comment which followed an article saying "Those who don't vaccinate should be sued."
i am a physician with undergraduate, graduate and post graduate training in biology, microbiology, immunology, neuroimmunology, physiology, pathophysiology, biochemistry etc, and grad and post grad training in pediatric holistic health. i have been trained by board certified pediatric MD's and PhD's in immunology. i have not and will never vaccinate my son. maybe not even of we go to developing nations with known diseases because by then his immune system will actually know how to work properly. look up TH2 immune system dominance and vaccines and see what a mess we are making in this country. i also did not expose my child to any vaccinated children until he was 6 months old because i didn't want him getting exposed to live incubating frankenstein viruses other children have been vaccinated for. almost every case of whooping cough i have seen in 11 years of holistic pediatric care has been in a child who was vaccinated. i also keep him away from other children when he has any slight sign of illness when the other parents are worried about it. with the decision not to vaccinate comes a certain amount of responsibility as well but don't tell me i am endangering others when i have made and educated and informed decision.

It's the people who make the vaccines that should be sued. That physician knows what's going on, the person who wrote that article though sure doesn't.

Matthew,
Can you give us the origin of this article? Did the man identify himself?
It made sense until I read the part about vaccinated children getting whooping cough since I know 2 families that got whooping cough and they were not vaccinated. They were very sick and the horrible cough lasted months so that they couldn't attend Mass without disturbing the whole congregation. The oldest children in these families were teenagers at the time.

"Alternative (holistic) doctors" are doctors who have opted to make their money in an alternative (less competitive?) market.

There's nothing contradictory or illogical about it, as you imply.
He didn't say that unvaccinated children won't get whooping cough -- and it CERTAINLY can happen sometimes, even if it was rare.
He was emphasizing (perhaps too much) that those who think they are safe because of vaccination are actually NOT any safer.

I'd trust my life with an alternative doctor any day to a conceited Big Pharma whore that's going to try to pump me full of Big Pharma drugs, which cause more problems than they cure.

As far as the occurrence of pertussis, the vaccine is not even touted as 100% effective, it's more in the 50% (at very conservative estimates) to 95% range, according to studies. Therefore, if we assume that the majority of children *are* vaccinated, if 5% plus of those children are getting pertussis it seems perfectly reasonable that a given doctor would see only patients who had been vaccinated and contracted the disease.
Also, for reference, here's the original thread - the author's name is nicole-3116265.

We took our 2-month old to the doctor today, and even after telling them in advance, the doctor still gave us the "third degree" about our decision not to vaccinate. He told us that we would no longer be welcome if we did not vaccinate our little girl before her one-year old birthday. I told him that I would not accept any vaccines that were derived from aborted fetuses. He said that he had "never heard of that" (exact words) and asked me for my source, which I told, him, was the Roman Curia. I offered to email him the link, but after our appointment, he wasn't interested. Here it is:

Some of our children have been vaccinated, others have not. Our last pediatrician very much respected our decision not to vaccinate. In fact, he acknowledge that if our children weren't in day care then vaccinations were probably unnecessary. He has since left the area and I have had to get a new physician that our insurance will pay for. When Merryn went for her 2 month visit, the Dr. rolled off the vaccines she was supposed to get. I simply said "No Thanks. We aren't vaccinating." She rolled her eyes slightly and asked me why. Of course she gave the whole lecture but eventually she respected our decision. She did make a note of it on our chart.
-
I only take the children to the doctor if they're sick. If a doctor ever gave me a problem about vaccinations, and threatened me that he wouldn't see them if i didn't, I would tell him, charitably, that I would seek a different doctor that actually cared about the health of my child.
-
I wonder if that's even legal, refusing health-care to a child, when you, the parent, are able to at least pay for it.
-
How is the greed of 'Big Pharma' in any way distinct from giant multinational corporate greed in general?

Good question.
-

It better be.
The care of children -- deciding what's best for them -- belongs to the parents as a fundamental, God-given right. The state has no right to intervene.
If we lose that right, we've lost our freedom.
It's up there with being able to choose your career, marriage partner, # of children, and how you wish to educate your children.

Just because a few parents will abuse their right doesn't change the fact that it's their right.
So a few parents won't do such a great job as parents. Perhaps they're ignorant, or neglect their children.
So there's a bit of suffering in the world. Guess what? This isn't heaven.
Every time man tries to eliminate all pain and suffering, to create a heaven on earth, a veritable hell is created instead.
Monsanto probably claims they're trying to eliminate hunger.
Big Pharma wants to eliminate discomfort and suffering from diseases.
The Government wants to eliminate want and poverty.
You see, they are all going to end up making things WORSE in the long run.
Sorry, but Original Sin is the source of all suffering. There is only one way to reverse Original Sin -- to follow Christ perfectly on the Way of the Cross, receiving grace from Him, pursuing the path of sanctity. Christ gives us Baptism which destroys the mark of Original Sin, and the means by which we can counter its permanent effects in our souls.
When man tries to "save mankind" another way -- it is doomed to failure.

Considering the above information, what justification do the school districts have in demanding that children need to be immunized to attend the schools.

If you notice that a lot of these multinationals that are around that are in charge of the drug companies used to work DIRECTLY with the nαzιS, THEN you see how they are different from other multinationals. Their business is not "health care," IT IS DEATH DEATH DEATH! They are the harbingers of death. Bayer is one of the big ones.

So should aspirin be taken off the market?

You watch too much Alex Jones :whistleblower:
Their real mantra isn't DEATH DEATH DEATH. It's MONEY MONEY MONEY. If death and insanity are a side effect of that, that is just collateral damage.
But if depopulation is really their goal, as you can see, they're not exactly doing a bang-up job. Plus, "they" is a very small group of people. Most of the evil in this world is done by those who occupy lower rungs on the pyramid, those who are just "doing their job" and "trying to have a good life" i.e. going along with evil rather than actively instigating it.
Personally, I'd have my kids vaccinated, I think this is a huge red-herring. I also think the devil is behind lots of the conspiracy-theory crowd. Not that cօռspιʀαcιҽs aren't real, but you can take it too far and become paranoid and isolated, and that is not godly.
If I may pat myself on the back, I always denied the link between autisms and vaccinations. That is because I see things in a spiritual way -- sometimes I go too far, but for me there's always a spiritual cause. For instance, the increase of autistic and troubled children strikes me as being a result of broken homes and stress and a fractured society in general, a society that has for the most part rejected God. The overwhelming unhappiness of this society breaks children down and makes them turn inward, they become withdrawn and sink into their own world ( autism, poor social skills, OCD-like behavior ). That is what I personally believe is happening. You could also see it as the sins of the fathers being visited on the children -- there's an obvious decline from generation to generation, things are always getting worse.
I remember I knew a family where a few of the kids were slow-witted, were mentally undeveloped in some odd way. The family blamed this on vaccines. My mother agreed with him. My personal hunch was that the marriage was not pleasing to God, and that was His form of punishment.
Now it turns out that was all a fake, the idea that vaccines cause autism. I can't say that I'm right with my interpretation, either, but it wasn't because of vaccines.
Just use common sense, which means not seeing everything through the lens of "the government is trying to kill me." The government is trying to suck you dry financially, not kill you, okay? Unless you happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time for one of their Satanic sacrifices a la 9/11...
It is common sense that an antidepressant directly tampers with your brain, but I don't see how a vaccine given once can cause mental retardation. The main problem with vaccines I'd say is that they themselves can make you sick. You saw this with the pig-flu scare where more people got sick from the vaccine than from pig-flu. ( If I may boast a little, just go check my messages. When everyone was panicking about pig flu, I knew it was a hoax, that it was nothing. )
So you just weigh your chances and make a decison. I wouldn't take a pig flu vaccine, and I don't get a flu shot.
But to have my kids vaccinated, if I had kids, is a different story. I think the risk is greater for NOT having them vaccinated. It seems absurd to not have kids vaccinated for measles and mumps, for instance, what paranoia! We all have that vaccination and we're not mental defectives, at least I hope we aren't. Yet the same evil government was in place in the 60's, 70's and 80's...
-
So should aspirin be taken off the market?
No.
-
I wouldn't put much stock in the "debunking" of the mmr autism link.
-
The major problem in this supposed conflict of conventional and holistic health care modalities, is dogmatism and ignorance on both sides. They are each so sure they know all there is that's worth knowing.
-
Yes, we need to be getting back to the real, tried and true causes of children born with defects - imperfect marriages. Ohh, and also, damp southern breezes during conception.
-
If I may pat myself on the back, I always denied the link between autisms and vaccinations.
Proceed, although I am not sure why you would do so.
Now it turns out that was all a fake, the idea that vaccines cause autism.
Says who?
-
I align with Raoul in how I disagree about the link between autism and vaccines. Sure, vaccines may be created from fetal tissue, etc etc and that's a moral reason why I may avoid having any children I may have from receiving them, but the autism link is a weak one for me. Not going off millions of case studies, but just around me, everyone I know and can recall has been vaccinated, and the children I do have no form of any syndromes and genetic disorders according to their parents.
Remember everyone, its true its true. The devil plays BOTH sides of the truth battle. Conspiracy nuts must be dealt with accordingly and we must all ascertain what is real and true with God by keeping as holy a life as possible (which is actually REALLY holy if we always take the graces God gives us), and staying in line with true Magisterial teaching and Scripture.
-
First it was discerned that mental illness is in reality a spiritual disorder. Now we learn the same is true of autism. Why don't we just do away with all forms of medical/alternative intervention for what we misguidedly perceive as health problems, and just trust in the Providence of God and pray our way through them?

St. Luke was a physician, and I doubt that he would object to treating people with modern medicine. Clearly, some spiritual disorders do result in mental illness, others are chemical, biological, or the result of trauma, both mental and/or physical.

I just wanted to share this as an insight and one reason why, over the years, we have vaccinated our children with a few vaccines or eliminated them all together.
When our oldest was a baby, both my husband and I were fairly modern people. We both worked and he went to daycare at a person's home. He was sick frequently with colds, ear aches, and stomach bugs. I worked in the medical industry, so vaccines were just part and parcel. By the time our 3rd was born, I was a stay at home mom with children in public school. At this point, we vaccinated because it was easier. In our state at the time, there is no religious exemption only medical. But now that we home-school and we have a religious exemption, vaccinating doesn't seem so important, really.
I also know this...Last year, our children missed 2 or more weeks of school for some illness--the flu, stomach bugs, fevers etc. This year, they haven't been sick at all except for a 24 hour stomach virus my husband brought home from work that passed through everyone in a weekend.
Each pregnancy I get the same response from some ignorant young nurse---"Wow. Your MMR titers are so high! You must be immune. How did that happen?" Ugh. I had all three as a child dingbat and that offers life-long immunity.
This is going to be the destruction of humans--we are germaphobes. No one has any immunity to anything because we use Lysol on everything and vaccinate against everything. Our bodies don't have any work to do and eventually they will turn on us. Slowly but surely.
-
Jehanne -- I was attempting to express sarcasm. I do agree with your reasonable, common sense approach. The Church from an early era was known for founding hospitals to care for the sick.
-
If I may pat myself on the back, I always denied the link between autisms and vaccinations. That is because I see things in a spiritual way -- sometimes I go too far, but for me there's always a spiritual cause.
This is crap, Mike -- so you might want to hold off where patting yourself on the back is concerned. In any case, I am stepping in to throw some virtual cold water in your face (in the kindest way possible). :fryingpan:
Do you not know the story from the Gospel about the man born blind wherein Jesus specifically blows this idea to bits? If you have never read it, do. If you have forgotten the details, reread it.
-
My little cousin got the H1N1 vaccine last year. Less than a week after getting it his windpipe closed. He was half dead by the time they got him to the hospital. Fortunately they were able to treat it, but they didnt say what caused it.
Anyone who thinks that there isn't a link between vaccines and auto-immune diseases and or nervous afflictions (heavy metal poisoning) is ill informed to say the least.
-
From St. John, chapter 9:
"And Jesus passing by, saw a man, who was blind from his birth: And his disciples asked him: Rabbi, who hath sinned, this man, or his parents, that he should be born blind? Jesus answered: Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents; but that the works of God should be made manifest in him."
None of us can get more "spiritual" than Jesus, Incarnate Wisdom. He explicitly tells us that there is not, of necessity, a moral/spiritual cause for physical disorders, afflictions, etc.

Vaccines found to activate moron genes that cause further belief in vaccines (satire)
by Mike Adams, the Health Ranger, NaturalNews Editor
(NaturalNews) Weekend satire special: New research accidentally conducted by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation has discovered that vaccines activate the "moron" genes that normally lie dormant in human beings. Once activated, these "moron genes" cause individuals to lose higher brain function and the ability to question false information fed to them by doctors, drug companies and the media. This, in turn, results in even more people pursuing repeated vaccines, further causing expression of the moron genes, over and over again, until their brain function collapses to the level of a raw vegetable... otherwise known as a "voter."
Because of their disastrous effects on higher brain function, these vaccines are now being called "Moron Vaccines."
Moron Vaccines contain all the usual ingredients of flu vaccines and MMR vaccines, including methyl mercury, aluminum, formaldehyde and DNA fragments from diseased monkey organs. (This is truly what's found in other vaccines...)
But Moron Vaccines have one ingredient that's slightly different. As Dr. All Proffit, a leading vaccine patent holder, explained, "Moron Vaccines are much like regular vaccines, except instead of taking diseased material from infected cows and monkeys, we take brain cell samples from existing morons which are easy to find among our colleagues. We then weaken those brain cells to make them even more moronic, and then we inject them into infants and children, mixed with a bit of mercury to make sure it targets the neurological system for maximum effectiveness."
The result? As Bill Gates explains, "Billions of children each year are being saved from IBFD." IBFD is short for Intelligent Brain Function Disorder. It is an affliction affecting hundreds of millions of people each year, causing them to achieve dangerously high levels of cognitive function that causes them to ask inappropriate questions about vaccines such as, "Why have vaccines never been tested against non-vaccinated children?" Or, "Why do vaccines cause some children and teens to collapse into autism, comas or death?" Or, "Why don't flu vaccines actually prevent flu symptoms in 99 out of 100 people who receive them?"
Those questions have no place in today's medical system, where the correct answer to every disease is -- as doctors are routinely taught -- "More vaccines!"
"The population is too intelligent for its own good," Dr. Proffit added. "The only way to keep people in line with the expectations of Big Government, Big Pharma and America's top employers such as McDonald's and Wal-Mart is to increase the moron density in America through a determined, long-term vaccination program carried out with the help of doctors and government medical authorities."
To financially support that program, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) is investing over fifty billion dollars to roll out Moron Vaccines on a global scale. "This will help ensure that more people buy Microsoft products," explained Gates. "Because if they regain higher brain function, they might be tempted to run Linux instead."
The FDA granted approval to the Moron Vaccines based on the scientific clinical trial data provided by the maker of the vaccines, most of which was, believe it or not, fabricated by morons. "This is why the data are so consistently reliable," explained the company CEO. "When you're studying Moron Vaccines, who better to offer an experienced perspective than an actual moron posing as a research scientist?"
The FDA was influenced in its decision to approve the vaccines by the CDC, which recently warned that America was "suffering from an epidemic of critical thinking" that threatened the future of the U.S. government, the Federal Reserve, and the vaccine industry in particular. The source of this epidemic has been traced to Rep. Ron Paul, of course.
"People who think for themselves are a threat to the U.S. government, and they are causing problems at airports, too," said DHS secretary Janet Napolitano. "That's why we've partnered with the FDA to make sure that those suffering from Intelligent Brain Function Disorder are offered 'treatment' at every opportunity."
As part of that government treatment program, IBFD screening centers are now being erected at the airports, sports stadiums and Wal-Mart stores. Interestingly, Wal-Mart stores have so far found exactly zero people at their stores who suffer from Intelligent Brain Function Disorder. Apparently, all Wal-Mart shoppers are already cured. (http://naturalnews.tv/v.asp?v=5A4B5...)
The TSA announced it would no longer hire anyone suffering from IBFD and would only hire workers after they have been injected with the Moron Vaccine. "Is is very important that TSA agents have achieved the lower IQs necessary for them to carry out their jobs of molesting air travelers," explained TSA head John Pistole explained. "We cannot have our agents suffering from moments of cognitive awareness while they're touching your junk. People who work in government security are better off if they simply do what they're told without asking intelligent questions or citing the Fourth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, which is a highly complex collection of sequential words that none of us can decode anymore thanks to the Moron Vaccines."
Moron Vaccines are now mandatory in medical schools, where they are given to would-be doctors are part of an indoctrination ritual. They're also mandatory in public schools, where children are being educated just enough to be obedient workers but not enough to actually question what role they're playing in the grand consumerism economic raping of the planet in the name of corporate profits.
Walgreens stores are offering Moron Vaccine Gift Cards so that you can give the gift of lower brain function to a friend or family member. If grandma is acting up again, a vaccination targeting her higher brain function may be just the ticket to a joyful, loving family picnic. That "Grandma is staring off into the distance again" look is actually family affection, remember.
Many nursing homes and retirement centers are even thinking of switching from their current model of pharmaceutically abusing patients into a tolerable state of human vegetation to the new model of just vaccinating them instead. "It's so much easier with the Moron Vaccines," explained one nursing home director. "Pills required patient consent, but vaccines can be given to patients in their sleep, and when they wake up the next morning, or at least the ones that do, they're like a whole new person... quiet, introspective and no longer argumentative."
The Moron Vaccine is such a success that even President Obama chimed in on the issue. "Moron Vaccines help keep America strong by making sure people don't ask too many questions about the coming economic collapse," he said in a recent press event. "If we can manage to vaccinate the entire population, then we can probably keep the Medicare and Social Security Ponzi schemes going a few years longer, and that protects all of us in Washington from a popular revolt like the one we saw in Egypt! The Middle East is witness to the violence and destruction that can take place when populations are allowed to contemplate higher ideals such as freedom or liberty," Obama said. "Moron Vaccines keep people comfortably numb in their lower brain functions, where they can dutifully serve the interests of the State."
So don't miss out on the Moron Vaccines! They're available free of charge at any U.S. post office. The government is also offering a special discount called, "Don't buy one, get one free!" for those who can't do math because they graduated from Madison, Wisconsin public schools -- "where education is ALWAYS secondary."
Note: This satire article is pure fiction. If you didn't know that by now, you have probably already taken the Moron Vaccines! Please turn yourself into the nearest TSA human resources office for possible placement within the Department of Homeland Security.

He's a flaming liar there, too, Glad.
The mainstream media is in a frenzy over a new "study" claiming that Andrew Wakefield's 1998 Lancet paper was fraudulent. For years, the media has mischaracterized Wakefield's work as implicating the MMR vaccine in the autism epidemic. This was never true, as Wakefield himself wrote in the conclusion to his paper:
"We did not prove an association between measles, mumps, and rubella vaccine and the syndrome described."
He doesn't know how to READ!
-
Some of us are in the situation of being against most vaccines due to their safety questions, but not all of them (tetanus toxoid). We're also in the situation of living in states that allow only a religious exemption, and not a philosophical.
This has basically forced me to craft a religious exemption letter, but when my son needed a tetanus shot (which I have never been against), I got it in the ER after his accident; if I'd gotten it in his pediatrician's office, she would then want to know why I allowed that vaccine and not the others, if what I am claiming is a religious exemption.
I wish some states would just allow the philosophical exemption so parents like wouldn't have to play these games.

Fraudulent research to hide link of Autism with Vaccines (http://naturalsociety.com/fraudulent-study-to-distract-from-vaccine-association-with-autism-backfires/#ixzz1ojIjHTAT):
The study was conducted at UC Davis and the findings were published in a late 2011 issue of the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences as “Brain enlargement is associated with regression in preschool-age boys with autism spectrum disorders.” Making sure this study’s vague conclusions got some public attention to help muddy the waters of vaccinations and autism, a summary of the journal’s report was published in the health sections of several mainstream outlets.
The stated report theme was that this study added to the growing evidence that autism has “roots in different biological underpinnings” and “other subtypes of autism will be more closely associated with immunological differences or genetic alterations.”
The recent study divided autism into regressive and non-regressive. Non-regressive autism is early onset autism. Not much has been developed with language and motor skills, so there is not as much “regression” as with one who has started speaking and walking.
The research comprised of 180 children from two to four years of age, mostly around three years old. Almost one-third had suffered non-regressive (early onset) autism, slightly over one-third regressive autism, and one-third of the subjects who were not autistic comprised the control group.
Magnetic resolution imaging (MRI) scans were performed on their brains to measure brain sizes, which were compared to available pediatric well visits head measurements at 18 months. The omission of vaccination records proves they were biased to begin with. Study conductors bothered to get pediatric head measurements for the 18 month well visits, and didn’t bother with vaccination histories? Very obviously suspicious, eh?
So here are their results. Most in the regressive (later onset) autistic group had larger brains than the non-regressive (early onset) group, and the non-regressive group had slightly larger brains than the non-autistic kids. But there were a few non-autistic kids with larger brains too! All the larger brained autistic children were boys; none were girls. These facts should be flies in the ointment for such a small study. The number of autistic kids was only 114.
This research group got a substantial grant for research, radiated almost 180 children’s brains, and implied that vaccines are not a causal factor for autism while not even taking vaccinations into account for each child statistically.
One line in the study’s paper commented that since regression often begins at four months of age it “calls into question the association of pediatric vaccinations … in particular the … MMR.”
Heidi Stevenson, in her late November 2011 “Gaia Health Blog,” debunks that statement as an effort to misdirect attention from the fact that several other vaccinations are given from two months of age or earlier. She refers to the CDC recommended child vaccine schedule to show vaccinations start as early (or earlier) than two months of age.
Heidi points out that what is being observed is brain swelling from inflammation, or encephalitis, and its growth corresponds with the CDC schedule for pediatric vaccinations. Heidi’s bottom line: “If this study is valid, it docuмents a pattern of encephalitis that suspiciously parallels the implementation of the vaccine schedule in young children.”
Many experts, including author and neurosurgeon Dr. Russell Blaylock, have indicated that vaccinations routinely cause brain inflammation. Infants have undeveloped immune systems lacking sufficient blood brain barrier protection.
This study was conducted without consulting the subject children’s vaccine histories, thus avoiding the vaccination issue while proclaiming vaccines are not associated with autism. Just other “biological underpinnings.”
Funding for tracking down genetic possibilities linking to autism have already begun. This is all probably a vaccine industry funded (by front groups) to “scientifically prove” one or two generations of offspring resulted in a sudden genetic mutation, resulting in a a flash flood of autism among newborns, most of whom had been vaccinated.

Just as “history” is written by the victors, “science” is controlled by financially vested interests. Unfortunately, authoritative bad science is easy to sell to the media and the unaware public.
I don't know about other vaccines, but the MMR vaccine is suspect.
