I would not expect that birds would escape the weather warfare unscathed.

Yes, it probably depends on the type of bird, but I was doing some reading.  Perhaps some have fled to the hills for a time. Some have probably just perished along with any nests.  It might take some time for things to get back to normal.

As a bird lover, this is terrible news.  I can't imagine living without the birds.

Next month the hummingbirds should be coming back from cartel central. I'll be watching for them.

A few days ago( after the last rains) I noticed that about 95% of the birds( Sea Gulls, Wrens, Crows etc) have VANISHED. There is not a bird in the sky as far as the eye can see.

I remember that dream/prophecy someone posted about the american guy who had a vision about the future America, specifically the West.  He saw California and right before this huge, massive earthquake destroyed it all.  He specifically mentioned walking down the streets in Cali and not hearing any birds.  He asked a few people on the sidewalks about it, but he said they were like zombies and didn't understand anything he was saying.

Story is that a young man fell off his horse in 1937 and suffered some head injuries, and then repeatedly had these visions (each time was a continuation of the previous one).  If real, there are some comments that he made about society that he could not have known in 1937.

He did, however, mention seeing the US President at the time of the earthquakes:

I saw a newspaper on the corner with a picture of the president. It surely wasn’t Mr. Roosevelt. He was bigger, heavier, big ears.

Sounds like he could be talking about Trump, and so if Trump gets re-elected in 2024.  Or it could be that he misunderstood the article, where there was a picture of Trump on the newspaper and the newspaper referred to him in the capacity of having been the former President (since Trump is in the news as running for the office).
