  • Last year I decided to pray deliverance prayers for use by the laity from Fr.Ripperger, and first I prayed them for around one week, and I felt kinda good praying them, but then I stopped for a couple of days. Then in my unbelievable stupidity I decided to pray them again, and when I was on job I had an attack,my vision became blurry and my right side of brain started to hurt me.I wonder did I get demonic payback because I prayed those prayers and stuck my nose into things I shouldn't have...I can't risk surgery because if something happens I can't work anymore, and I live with my dad and I need to take care of him.

Mr. Ripperger is wrong to encourage laity to participate in exorcism prayers.

The true Church has always and everywhere taught:
    1. exorcisms must only be done with the express authority of the Church (authorized by a Bishop or higher auithority)
    2. exorcism must be done only by those with Orders of Exorcism
    3. it is dangerous, a risk of demonic possession or attack, for anyone to undertake exorcism without the express authority and Orders.

    Period.
