    • According to Dr. Paul Offit, people will need to continue wearing masks and social distancing for “the next couple of years” even after a COVID-19 vaccine becomes available
    • A viral video shows the violent arrest of an Ohio mom at a local football game, ostensibly for not wearing her mask in the stands. The problem with arresting people for not complying with mask rules is that there’s no evidence to support the idea that masks prevent the spread of the virus
    • Face shields, recommended as an added layer to protect the mucous membranes of your eyes, are useless for the prevention of viral spread, especially if used alone in lieu of a mask. Masks with exhalation ports are also useless as they do not filter the outbreath
    • Flow visualization research shows that while face shields block the initial forward motion of the jet, expelled droplets move around the visor and spread out over a large area. Visualizations for face masks equipped with an exhalation port show droplets pass through the exhale valve unfiltered
    • September 18, 2020, the CDC posted updated COVID-19 guidance that, for the first time, mentioned aerosol transmission of SARS-CoV-2, saying “this is thought to be the main way the virus spreads.” It also noted that aerosolized viruses can travel farther than 6 feet.     • There will be also lots of unneeded Deaths caused by mask wearing.   This is just another tool for the population
    reduction game of the ruling elites.

    • COVID is a nothingburger.

    Meanwhile, wearing masks is actually harmful, and will cause the wearer to get sick more, besides other health effects.

    I can't believe here in America our choice has been taken away about something like this -- and 99.9% of people are going along with it!!!!

    Masks are an instrument of control -- over our very bodies. It's the Deep State flexing their muscle, especially the power to brainwash us to do some arbitrary action.

    That's why I'm horrified at the adoption rate. Here in Red State, conservative Texas -- not "big city" which is always democratic and liberal -- something like 99.5% adoption rate. I'm usually the only one in the store without a mask.

    Everyone wears them. Whites, Blacks, Hispanics, Asians, well-to-do, middle-class, suburbanites, blue-collar workers, truckers, construction workers, smokers -- you name it. They all have them on their little kids too. It's something I never thought I'd see outside of a sci-fi book.

    Most people don't have a choice, though, because they can't even buy food or gas if they don't have a mask on. It is also disturbing to me how anyone who doesn't want to wear a mask is suddenly deprived of even the most basic necessities of life. That happened without anyone even seeming to notice.
    .
    I'm a little curious, now that I think about it, how the employees of a grocery store have the power to enforce some government order on their clientele, even if they wanted to? They are not policemen. How can they be told to enforce government mandates on their customers? How can a store be punished if someone walks in while violating some government command?

    • The Spanish Flu, an actually serious pandemic, went away by itself after a year with no vaccine. Now we're being told not only that herd immunity is somehow impossible without vaccines, which is nonsense that the Spanish Flu disproves, but that even with vaccines, we'll still have this disease for years and years and have to suffer far more severe restrictions than they ever had in 1918(for an actually serious disease).

    It's a complete scam; it's a joke. No sensible person could possibly take this seriously anymore and not see it for the theatre it is, but it doesn't seem there's an abundance of sensible people these days.

    Yes, I keep forgetting that Nadir :facepalm:    I guess it is because I have never felt anything about my earthly citizenship other than that I am an Australian.  Andrews is a reincarnation of the Pied Piper leading the State's cult followers over the cliff like a bunch of lemmings - worse dragging the rest of the whole country with him.
