Haven't surgeons been wearing surgical masks for hours for like, decades?
I don't agree at all with wearing them but this "I can't breathe" thing is clearly not true unless you TRULY have some condition.
Surgeons wore them for the length of surgery. Then the masks came off. It was ONLY to prevent visible drops of spittle from entering an open wound (the body is wide open in front of them, after all!)
Not nurses. Not all health care workers. Not security guards. Not everyone in a hospital, clinic, or doctor's office. Not every patient.
See the difference?
If there is *any* good reason to wear masks in 2021, I want to reject all advice/teachings of the entire Medical establishment, since they were all 100% OK with everyone wearing NO mask at any time back as recently as 2019. It's bullcrap.
It's not like "smoking is bad for you" which all doctors said, but no one heeded. No, the doctors and entire Medical establishment didn't even SUGGEST or RECOMMEND that people wear masks all the time during flu season, etc.
