  • I don't know what all the laws and regulations are down in the USA but up here in Canada our legalized hemp is now only allowed by big corporations on a large scale. It is still illegal to grow it even medicinally for yourself unless you obtain a special licience and jump through all the hoops.

My girlfriends husband needed the majuana and she couldn't get a prescription for the medicinal stuff they only offered the synthetic stuff. He was on his last legs with severe Bladder Cancer. The cost of the hemp was outrageous she could only afford a few days worth. He just died a few days ago. LORD HAVE MERCY.

I may have mentioned it before but this plant is a phenominal plant. It has been used worldwide for 5000yrs as medicine. It was  sold here in North America in the  1800's and early 1900's in various forms. It was outlawed in the 1930's.

Please look up Rick Simpson  RUN FROM THE CURE.  Here is a man that obtained a licience grew the plant converted it to oil gave it away for FREE to sick friends and family and the lives of these people greatly improved. Rick Simpson contacted Govt, Radio, and of course The Cancer Institue  to request clinical trials on this phenominal plant. Being a MULTI BILLION Dollar industry they of course said NO. They are only interested in Big Pharma.

I did not realize but 1 out of 2.6 men will get cancer and 1 our of 3 women will too. Chemo and Radiation is agreed upon by major cancer experts to be ineffective, killing more people than it saves.

A plant that is as easy to grow as a tomatoe plant should NOT BE ILLEGAL especially when its purspose is to treat ailments and disease.

In the program RUN FROM THE CURE there is a man who was just Radiated and chemoed to the Bone he looked so sickly ready to die and that is exactly what the doctors told him. Sorry we can do anything for you. Luckily his wife obtained some of this hemp oil and in a few weeks he was doing better in a few months his life came back and 6 months later he was.......

    C A N C E R      F R E E !!!!!!

Can u imagine he would have to go to jail and have a criminal record if he was caught growing this medicine to stay alive????

I think the word needs to get out.   Hemp  IS NOT BAD and should not be ILLEGAL at least for the group of responsible citizens that want it for medicinal uses.

Im a little ticked that my friend had no access to the stuff and even if they grew it you would need a stash of it BEFORE you got sick not DURING.

Feel free to add your thoughts and experiences on this topic thanks Have a Great day.

  • They make houses out of the stuff.

Regarding cancer, is there any truth that people in Asia and the Mediterranean rarely get cancer, though they smoke like chimneys? Something about lots of seaweed and olive oil in their diets.

  • I'm not sure what to make of the thread title, since smoking pot doesn't cure cancer...
"Be kind; do not seek the malicious satisfaction of having discovered an additional enemy to the Church... And, above all, be scrupulously truthful. To all, friends and foes alike, give that serious attention which does not misrepresent any opinion, does not distort any statement, does not mutilate any quotation. We need not fear to serve the cause of Christ less efficiently by putting on His spirit". (Vermeersch, 1913).

  • More info on hemp oil for health.

I do support medical marijuana, it is proven to help with the symptoms of glaucoma and cancer and alleviates pain.  It is NOT a cure, and  that is not alleged by proponents of medical marijuana, but it does increases the appetite of cancer patients which can help them maintain their strength during treatment and it can mitigate the side effects of chemo, although I'm sure it does not work for everyone.  Its pain relieving qualities also can lesson a person's dependence on heavy pain meds like morphine.

The hemp business was regulated out of existence in the US by the cotton growers back in the 1800's, prior to that hemp was the material of choice for among other things rope, sail canvas, and light, breathable clothing.

  • I support medical marijuana for the alleviation of the sick but when it comes to recreational marijuana used for drugs I can tell you my own personal experience being around plenty of junkie fools back in high school (luckily I never did marijuana myself).

It makes the individual become a lazy idiot and wipe out half his kitchen. It makes the individual become a loser in society (as if we don't have plenty of lazy fools already playing X-boxes when they should be working).

  • Personally Im all for Tincture Majuana and oil. As far as smoking the stuff I do believe tar build up in the lungs is a problem.

I had to laugh when I read about Moms For Majuana in the USA. Good for you!!

After watching RUN FROM THE CURE you cant help but question the thousands of patients that received their life back on a drug that isn suppose to CURE CANCER.

If it doesn't CURE CANCER why are people getting better? From what I read it doesn contain Cancer fighting properties and depending on what type of majuana (two types sativia and indica) one form actually attacks tumours.

Lots of info online and it seems to have nothing but positive information on the plant.

Havent been brave enough to try a cookie though been offered but don't see the need just yet as Im currently doing more vegi juicing and keeping the body full on antioxidants.

I actually have successful friends that make much more money than myself that smoke pot to relax. The stereotype just doesn't work for my generation of 30 year olds. They are not Catholic, but they would get along well with Gregg.

Whether one makes a whole bunch of money or not makes no difference. An obsession with drugs shows a person of undesirable character for society.

  • Those that trash Mary Jane have Never shown one shred of evidence from Any Church authority telling us the substance is bad. In fact I suspect there is an actual reason why God blesses All green herbs in Gen 9:3 :smoke-pot:

Why do you think that?  I know successful professionals who use it as lightly as many others drink alcohol.  Few object to those who have a glass or two of wine so why would they object to a few puffs?

Getting high as a kite 5 days a week is another story, that is abuse, and would be just as bad, no more, no less, than someone who is drunk 5 days a weeks.  Abusers of any substance are the ones who end up as a "junkie scrounger of society".

  • I think we are all getting off topic.

    QUESTION  Does medical Majuan work?

ANSWER  According to the patients that got their life back YES
According to doctors main stream media NOT REALLY

If I had a choice between doctors who receive NO EDUCATION on nutrition, local media who favorite catholic topic is women ordinations and homos. Or patients from all walks of life and ages who swear this stuff saves lives. I think I would sway towards the patients.

There are cancer experts around the world who hail this drug as a wonder cure and yes they are actual doctors who have gone against main stream.

I wonder to what degree and how many topics have the general public been brainwashed regarding these issues in society?

Here is what I USE to believe but NO LONGER

    Immunization is good
    Chemo and Radiation saves lives.
White bread is a healthy part of your diet
    Wheat is good for you
Pasturized dead milk is good for you
Raw milk is bad for you
GMO foods are approved there fore must be ok to eat  SO WHAT IF THEY CROSS FISH FLOUNDERS WITH TOMATOES OR RAT GENES WITH RICE???

Shall I go on with ga ga we get fed on a daily basis. I also though there was nothing wrong with a pair of snug fitting blue jeans. Then I started watching the old stars and noticed how they dressed. Our society dresses like slobs in comparison and our eating habits are awful awful awful not to mention the other 101 bad habit we have.

No I think there is a reason why there is so much opposition to farmers selling fresh meat off their property, raw milk is mostly illegal, and of course majuana is bad for you.

Too many voices out there sharing their success stories on the plant. I think we need to give it a chance.

    My two bits
