In reality, who is the first being that has ever exhibited schizophrenia? Isn't it Lucifer?
Lucifer not only suffers from delusions of grandeur as he thinks that he is God, but also he interprets reality abnormally, so much so, that he has become the greatest liar and the greatest threat to humanity. Even though he has been expelled from the presence of God, he still persists in his delusions and lives in a false reality creating his own hell.
So, yes, a return to God in repentance will help the schizophrenic, because only God can truly heal the sick and save the poor souls that have fallen under demonic influences in their lives.

Delusions. These are false beliefs that are not based in reality. For example, you think that you're being harmed or harassed; certain gestures or comments are directed at you; you have exceptional ability or fame; another person is in love with you; or a major catastrophe is about to occur. Delusions occur in most people with schizophrenia.
Many people in the U.S. believe, more or less, a major catastrophe is about to occur. Most trad Catholics certainly believe it [Fatima, 3 Days of Darkness, etc]. The Jєω psychiatrist would love to put these people on a "schizo" national registry and Big Pharma pills for the rest of their lives.
Believing in (knowing) Chem Trails and 9/11 being an inside job, especially by 5th Columnist Jєωs, will certainly get you diagnosed as a "schizo".
Basically, not agreeing with the government narrative or any modernist cultural degradation will get you diagnosed as a "schizo" by psychiatrists.
Hallucinations. These usually involve seeing or hearing things that don't exist. Yet for the person with schizophrenia, they have the full force and impact of a normal experience. Hallucinations can be in any of the senses, but hearing voices is the most common hallucination.
The only real cases are neurological in cause, not mental. Other conditions can cause hallucinations that mimic schizophrenia. One etiology that is usually missed is auto-immune encephalitis. Also, a minority of these occurrences aren't hallucinations, but demonic harassment.
Disorganized thinking (speech). Disorganized thinking is inferred from disorganized speech. Effective communication can be impaired, and answers to questions may be partially or completely unrelated. Rarely, speech may include putting together meaningless words that can't be understood, sometimes known as word salad.
Neurological damage from blunt trauma or birth defects cause this problem, too.
Extremely disorganized or abnormal motor behavior. This may show in a number of ways, from childlike silliness to unpredictable agitation. Behavior isn't focused on a goal, so it's hard to do tasks. Behavior can include resistance to instructions, inappropriate or bizarre posture, a complete lack of response, or useless and excessive movement.
So when I sometimes run like a werewolf to troll cyclists or other people on trails, and I do other goofy things to troll people in public, that means I have schizophrenia?
Negative symptoms. This refers to reduced or lack of ability to function normally. For example, the person may neglect personal hygiene or appear to lack emotion (doesn't make eye contact, doesn't change facial expressions or speaks in a monotone).
I've come across plenty of people lacking personal hygiene, and who didn't look at others in the eye when they talked, but they didn't have schizophrenia.
Also, the person may have lose interest in everyday activities, socially withdraw or lack the ability to experience pleasure.
Who hasn't experienced this at some point in their lives due to mild depression that might occur from losing a loved one or another traumatic experience? It doesn't mean a person has schizophrenia. But the lying psychiatric industry is trigger happy in "diagnosis" the goyim as having this largely falsified disorder.
