Title: low carb cinnamon mug muffin
Post by: Marlelar on August 08, 2017, 12:35:16 PM
My biggest problem with eating low carb is doing without "bread".  I can skip the pasta, potatoes, and rice and beans no problem,  but I miss bread, muffins, donuts!  This is now my new favorite mug muffin.  Cinnamon Swirl.  I use half the truvia they call for and it is sweet enough.  I also skip the flax seeds as I do not like their taste.  These are great with butter or a smear of cream cheese to up the healthy fat intake.

That sounds good.  Incidentally, I can eat all of the pinto beans, refried beans, and green beans that I want w/o impeding low-carb progress.  Also, lima beans in moderation.  But I have learned that I have to avoid white beans (which is my favorite side with catfish and bbq).  I'm not sure it works the same for everybody though.  Same with baked sweet potatoes (butter only--no brown sugar, sweetened butters, etc).
