When an animal tries to lick a person's face or mouth, it is looking for sugar or salt that humans have in their skin. There is no affection involved - as many people wrongly assume.
When a man kisses an animal he degrades himself to the level of the animal. This kind of equality between man and animal is repulsive to good customs, Natural Law and upright Catholic behavior.
Furthermore, this sentimental interaction with animals has been the origin of countless diseases, included venereal diseases and AIDS.
There is every reason to avoid it.
Don't kiss animals and don’t allow your children to do so.http://www.traditioninaction.org/Cultural/H012cpKissAnimal.html

I like Tradition In Action site, but I mostly disagree with them here. The only valid point they make is not kissing stray or unknown animals helps protect against epidemiological risk dynamics. It helps guard against animal vectors of pathogens. They're wrong about AIDS and venereal disease transmission simply by kissing an animal.Indoors or not, your dog stills licks its own arse.
If you have an indoor pet, the animal-to-human risk of transmission of pathogens is almost zero, even when you kiss your pets.
To look down upon animals with such disdain & objectification is sort of a Jewy mentality.
St. Francis of Assisi had a much more positive view of, and interaction with, animals. He called animals "brothers under God".
To look down upon animals with such disdain & objectification is sort of a Jewy mentality.Talk about jewy mentality. We are strictly talking about animals licking your face. Objection to that alone cannot be equated with disdain and objectification of animals.
To look down upon animals with such disdain & objectification is sort of a Jewy mentality.Animals , including dogs, are on a different rank in creation. Man is made in the image of God, and animals are for man's use. So objectification is normal behaviour of man towards animals. Disdain has no relevance here.
:barf: Yuck. I didn’t watch the video and do not plan to, either!I couldn't bring myself to watch it either. That's how much I hate dogs licking people's faces!

Any man who is "disgusted" or "repulsed" by a dog licking the face of a person must be a real sissy. :laugh1:
To have an aversion to it is one thing, and it's understandable, for we all have our quirks, but for a man to be "DISGUSTED" by it, there's a high probability he grew up without a good father figure, and he grew up around too many women. He must be a real pansy. :laugh2:I just think they are idiots for letting an animal lick their lips with the same tongue that cleans his penis, arse, wounds, eats poop and vomit.
Let the down thumbs ensue....

Hey, boy, people should worry about the uncleanliness of their minds & hearts, and not so much about the uncleanliness of dogs.Topic: Kissing Dogs, Letting Dogs Lick Your Mouth
