 The total number of confirmed cases in the U.S. is not because the virus is effectively contained. It is because the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is not doing enough testing. You can’t have an outbreak if you don’t test suspected patients.

Testing is a country’s first line of defense against a pandemic. People who test positive are quarantined and isolated. Health agencies then list the contacts of the patients so that they can also be quarantined. These measures can effectively curb the spread of the virus, especially if they are strictly enforced in the early stages of a possible outbreak.
If a country fails to take advantage of this crucial window, there’s no telling how big of an outbreak it may face. That’s what the United States is dealing with right now, no thanks to the incompetence of the CDC.
According to latest reports, the United States has administered 1,583 COVID-19 tests since initial cases were identified in January. In contrast, South Korea tested over 100,000 people by Mar. 1. Italy and the United Kingdom tested 23,345 and 13,525, respectively, by the same day.

CDC Playing Catch-Up By Deploying 2.1 Million Test Kits

Possibly aware of its own lapses, the CDC will try to make up for lost time by distributing 2.1 million test kits by Monday to commercial laboratories. Vice President Mike Pence announced Friday that 1.1 million test kits will be available by the end of the weekend. An additional 1 million test kits will be available by next week.
The incoming 2.1 million kits will be able to test around 850,000 people as the CDC requires two swabs for each patient.
By next week, I expect the number of confirmed cases in the U.S. to soar as more people get tested. This will reveal the incompetence of the CDC as it failed to immediately identify and isolate suspected coronavirus cases and their contacts through testing.
South Korea had the advantage of mass testing in the early stages of the outbreak yet the country has a record of 7,313 cases. It won’t be surprising if the United States eclipses that figure in the coming weeks.

I don't think China & S. Korea would shut down their countries (effectively crippling their economies) and spray disinfectants in their streets, nonstop, if this was nothing but a media hype frenzy.

I don't know but the way it's being reported 24/7 is really only making many normally sane people crazy. It would be nice if  they would start reporting on the number of people who have had it and recovered, or simply report it's flu season again and this strain is a bit worse than usual, but that wouldn't be news.

While everyone is in a panic about the coronavirus (officially renamed COVID-19 by the աօʀʟd ɦɛaʟtɦ օʀɢaռiʐatɨօռ), there's an even deadlier virus many people are forgetting about: the flu.
 
Flu season is hitting its stride right now in the US. So far, the CDC has estimated (based on weekly influenza surveillance data) that at least 12,000 people have died from influenza between Oct. 1, 2019 through Feb. 1, 2020, and the number of deaths may be as high as 30,000.
 
The CDC also estimates that up to 31 million Americans have caught the flu this season, with 210,000 to 370,000 flu sufferers hospitalized because of the virus.
 
The official toll of the 2019-2020 flu season won't be known for months. The season itself could last until May, and only preliminary estimates will be available until data is finalized.
 
“The current flu season has been difficult but it has not reached epidemic threshold,” infectious disease expert Amesh A. Adalja, MD, senior scholar at the John's Hopkins Center for Health Security in Baltimore, tells Health. “In the next couple of weeks, when more data is available, it will become clear just how severe the season was given that we had an initial dominance of influenza B and now dominance of influenza A H1N1.”

Not saying it's going to happen this Friday, but be prepared for a stock market crash this Friday afternoon before the DOW closes. The Bankers will declare a "bank holiday" on same day, which will indefinitely freeze your ability to withdraw money, buy online, and use your ATM card. They'll do it on a Friday when people's weekend plans will give them time to decompress before the start of the next week. Again, they'll blame it on the outbreak which may very well be officially declared a pandemic by Friday.

If you currently live in the city, get out now. Make immediate plans to stay with friends or relatives in the countryside. When the system collapses, the cities and, to a lesser degree, suburbs will become zones of very ugly and dangerous civil unrest due to most of the people inhabiting those areas living day-to-day, dependent on artificial means of sustenance and government welfare. All of that will be gone. Plus, you have the risk of human-to-human transmission of the virus in those populated, congested areas.

When this thing hits, it will hit fast and hard. Be prepared. Take action. Action saves lives. Doing nothing and only praying for help will not save you. This morning, the stock market just dropped so badly (because a pandemic was officially declared yesterday) that it tripped circuit breakers which has now temporarily halted trading, according to Operation Mockingbird "news".  LOL !!!!!!

An excuse to kill off their own people especially Christians.   They were torturing and murdering Christians. And they were tearing down Catholic Churches before the outbreak.  The stock market is controlled.  They play games with. Stock market. 

I agree they kill Christians, and the stock market is rigged.

The crashing market is part of the fix. The narrative being that the pandemic caused the crash, but it's really the Bankers who are crashing the financial system and the stock market is just one of the components being thrashed.
