There is a lot of confusion and lack of information about the true nature of the Coronavirus, as well as its origin, spread, virulence, etc.

HOWEVER what there is no doubt about is human nature responding to panic. The shelves will be cleared off regardless of how deadly or contagious the Coronavirus is.

Yeah, it's probably worth stocking up on non-perishables even if you aren't afraid of the virus itself. Better safe than sorry.

why do you say this is evidence of deliberate release rather than accidental?

The epidemiology is irregular. Early cases of the outbreak, half of the infected had exposure to the Wuhan seafood market. There are separate sections of the market that include wild animals and farm animals. The wild animal section has bats which is the source that conventional wisdom says spawned the virus, but none of the wild and farm animals tested positive for the virus. Only the seafood section's surfaces tested positive (33 swabs came back positive). Coronavirus doesn't come from fish. How can many different sections of the sea food market's surfaces get tainted with a new coronavirus when neighboring sections of wild and farm animals didn't test positive? I presume most people patronize the seafood section of the market. That's why that area was targeted with the virus. It probably wasn't the only target for deliberate release. Again, half of early cases didn't have exposure to that seafood market in Wuhan.

I'll tell you what it is. In essence, the new coronavirus is a rapid pathogenic HIV that spreads like the flu.

That's what I'm seeing as well.  Even if it doesn't kill you, it has the same effect on the immune system as HIV ... with some HIV genes spliced into it.  Several people who had "recovered" ended up relapsing.  It's also shown to impact male fertility.  For some people, it has attacked their brains.

I read somewhere that only Asians are dying.  Anyone else heard this?  Even the deaths in Europe were Asians and when this was brought up, the media shut down the conversation as "racist", so maybe there's some truth to this?

HANOI — All 16 people in Vietnam infected with a new coronavirus have been cured, the health ministry said on Tuesday, adding that no new cases have been recorded since Feb. 13.
The last known patient, a 50-year-old man infected by his daughter who returned from China's central city of Wuhan, where the virus first emerged, has recovered and is in good condition, the ministry said in a statement.

It was not immediately clear when the last patient would be discharged from hospital.
The rest, including a three-month-old baby, are improving, the ministry added.
Vietnam's first report of the virus was about two Chinese citizens infected on Jan. 23.
