Title: Just found out I have Lyme Disease

After many specialists and many tests excluded everything under the sun, we found out I have Lyme Disease and have had it for years. Has anyone dealt with this?

Hello,
My daughter had it and a man I know had it. Drinking a silver colloid helped alot. It occasionally flares up and the man I know simply drinks more silver to relieve it. As a caution though, not all people can drink a silver colloid as some, like my daughter, have a mild allergy to it, so to apply it is tricky.

I nearly contracted it once. I was bedridden for several days with what I thought was the flu from hell. I started to really stink and so I went to take a shower and saw a red circle on my thigh about 5 inches. I called the hospital and they told me it was a tell-tale sign that a tick carrying lyme bacteria had bitten me. They prescribed me antibiotics, which I took for a month or two.

Fortunately I caught it in time.

I read recently that Kris Kristofferson had been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease and he quit touring shortly thereafter. He later found out he was misdiagnosed and had lyme disease. Thank you all for your prayers and helpful links. I was first diagnosed outside of my HMO, which is notorious for discounting chronic Lyme disease. But now my HMO doc is treating me for it! (Without putting the diagnosis on my records.)
