  • Interesting, I never would have thought of that, thanks for bringing it up. I was raised on a farm so we were always self-sufficient and I remember as a kid I didn't really understand people going crazy over emergency supplies. However, now that I've been subjected to complete and utter dependence on "the system" (paycheck to paycheck, no garden, groceries by the week, complete third party dependence for heat etc...), it's been bothering me more and more. We do not read into prophesies and such, preferring to put our energy into our daily duties, God's Will NOW, but I have been feeling a sense of anxiety lately. Almost like how the animals take cover before a storm, that instinct. God willing, if our business takes off this year like it's primed to, we should be debt-free, on a little land with a little more self-sufficiency by this time next year. Not that that will solve everything but I will breathe a little easier I think.
