Given that Ivermectin works by binding to the same ACE2 receptors to which the spike proteins bind in order to wreak their havoc, it should theoretically be effective against the shedding.

Awesome. I take Ivermectin every now and then when exposed to a serious cold or flu. Tastes awful, but the only cold I had in the last year was minor and gone in a day thanks to early dosing.  May not help with all types of viruses, but its nice to have it in any case, maybe even against vaccine cooties.

Where can you get Ivermectin? Is it over the counter? Is HCQ still banned?

I haven't looked into this medicinal aspect since this whole thing started because I haven't been sick at all.

I take the veterinarian Ivermectin as it allows you to escape the medical system that tracks you and avoid a PCR swab to get a script- I prefer not to mess with that. It's the same stuff. Ivermectin is one of the safest drugs around.
Online you can get 1% IV Ivermectin that humans can take orally ( It's the exact same medication) I've been taking it without incident. You can take 1.25cc of it prophylactically once every three months ( that's about a third of a teaspoon) or 1.25cc once a day for three days if you feel the start of something coming on or if you are already ill.
Woof- it works great.

So you can just go into any veterinarian's office and buy it just like that?
