Isn’t it odd that all these urgent care centers were built right before the covid
Scamdemic?
In your area? There are none close to me, maybe one over in Caribou, but I don’t think it’s all that new. In NYC area we’ve had lots of them since the late 1990s, early 2000s. If I’m not mistaken of your real identity, your area as a whole has simply mushroomed in development in recent years, going from semi-rural to solidly suburban, huge expensive houses, shopping centers, additions on schools, widened roads, from country lanes to highways…It would stand to reason an increase in medical facilities, especially if people can afford them and want immediate, non-emergency room treatment. Doctors in private practice (a dying breed!) are few and it can take weeks to get an appointment, months sometimes, for a specialist. If your child has another strep throat, nobody wants to wait 10 days to be seen, when you pretty much know what it is and to get him on 10 days of Amoxicillin. Hospitals certainly do not want routine cases to come to the ER, and that’s often what still happens in inner cities where people don’t have insurance.
