  • All of these "magic bullet" foods are nonsense.  Eat at least one of these a week, and at least two of those a month, and you will be healthy.  Sorry to burst the bubble, but you can eat all of the avocados you want, but if you are following them up with potato chips and chocolate, you will never be healthy.

    Eat a balanced diet, practice proper portion control, go easy on the sweets, and get a moderate amount of exercise.  It's not rocket science.

  • I eat an avocado a day because it's the only fat (healthy or otherwise) that I can handle.

    There are several foods higher in potassium than bananas. Potatoes are very nutritious and a medium one has twice the potassium as a banana. As does a tbsp. of blackstrap molasses.
