  • Health Care Access and COVID: How to Protect Yourself

We are receiving a lot of calls regarding access to health care and patient advocacy during COVID. As the number of COVID cases increase across the nation, many hospitals no longer allow visitors. This means patients are not only deprived of beneficial companionship, they are also deprived of access to loved ones who can advocate for their care. I put together a short video that addresses the importance of patient advocates and outlines the need for an advance health care directive. I will discuss these issues in greater detail in upcoming videos, but I think it will be helpful to start with this overview.
You can read the video text here.

"In His wisdom," says St. Gregory, "almighty God preferred rather to bring good out of evil than never allow evil to occur."
