  • Fanny, you don't cut the onion?  I envision you mean, just put a whole onion, peel and all in a bowl of water.  Here I thought it was cut in half and placed in bowl.  So, the whole onion?

  • Not a bowl of water. Just in a bowl.
Help of Christians, guard our land from assault or inward stain,
Let it be what God has planned, His new Eden where You reign.

No water, just in a bowl.  Peel and all.
I have never cut it in half, but the website I posted said to do so. Probably wouldn't matter but I expect cutting it in half would make the house smell like onion.

  • Fire cider vinegar is another remedy to combat coughs and colds this time of year. It can be found at Walmart or Amazon.

I crawled into my local holistic store and asked what I could take
To prevent antibiotics and they said to take that.

You can also find recipes to make it your self.  The one I have has
Habenero peppers horseradish root apple cider vinegar and honey

It clears your sinuses   It really works.  A lot of fluids and plenty of reset

Never heard it called that, but o.k.
We use the following recipe, esp for sore throats or when you feel a cold coming along.  My children like to drink it, even when healthy, on cold days:
    1 quart water
1 c. Organic Apple cider vinegar with "mother"
    1 tablespoon blackstrap molasses
    1 tablespoon local honey
    1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Boil 5 min then steep 5 min.  Drink as hot as possible.
Can be refrigerated and used as needed.
Will stop a sore throat in its tracks.
    Get well everyone.
