  • Mixed with molasses and water, they seem to help with regularity, and maybe even weight loss.

  • Yes, but not with molasses.  Yes, I agree it can help with some weight loss.  I remember when baby formula had a  very little bit of Karo syrup added.  Why, I do not know.  I also take Fish oil (liquid) and it helps very much in lowering the fats.  BUT I was directed to use it different, than what is on the label.  It states 1 teas.  I take 1 Tab. 1 hour before I eat or after, that is the way it really works.

  • I've been drinking Psyllium husk powder mixed with water once a day as part of a whole-body cleanse thing I'm doing. Oh I just hate it- but it's great for the intestines.
They say powdered is more effective than whole for cleansing.
Religion clean and undefiled before God and the Father, is this: to visit the fatherless and widows in their tribulation: and to keep one's self unspotted from this world.

  • Use the whole psyllium husk and not the powder. You want the gentle scrubbing action from it to clean the walls of your intestines. This reduces your intestinal cancer risk.

NOW brand is what I use. I take a tablespoon or two with water every day.
