  • Hardest hit Coronavirus areas are in the "green" zone -- 10 degrees C -- see map

This Texan is hoping that high temperature seriously limits the Coronavirus ability to spread -- basically it can only spread if you catch it from someone else indoors.

This native Floridan wonders if this is where the globalists begin to exercise external control of Internet-addressable "smart appliances", to cut off power to air conditioners?  For the sake of public health, of course, specifically to reduce the spread of CoVID-19?

Forecast high for Orlando for Friday (03-27) is a full 90°F, but midday humidity remains in the 30s%.  Maybe the wave-action at beaches will boost the humidity there, saving the foolishly socializing spring breakers, who will forever foolishly claim that CoVID-19 was overhyped.

  • Florida, Texas sounds nice to visit someday after everything is over.

We were planning to take a day trip to Lancaster, Pa. but liberal governor shut them down too.

Who would ever vote for a man who volunteered by taking girls to Planned parenthood.   Most people feed the hungry and poor.

May God bless you and keep you

  • Seems CV does not care too much about the heat either.

Yes, but heat doesn't tell the whole story. There's no way that climate is going to save anyone single-handedly. If you go shopping and visiting all day, spend lots of time indoors, have generally poor cleanliness and hygiene, fail to wash your hands, aren't careful, etc. it's quite possible to catch a cold or flu -- or COVID-19 -- during the summer.

Climate merely HELPS or HURTS. Colder climates require that you turn on the heat, which lowers the relative humidity, and dries out your throat and nasal passages, making it easier to catch a virus. Plus people stay inside more when it's cold, and consequently get less sun.

COVID virus particles could be dropping like flies, being destroyed by the sun/heat within minutes outdoors all day long -- but when you have hundreds of thousands or even millions of humans interacting with each other indoors on a regular basis -- things are gonna spread.

Note that most of the "Louisiana" cases are in New Orleans. I did some Googling -- the city is 60.2% black, as of 2010. That particular race isn't big on following rules "because it's the right thing to do" or for the love of law & order.

The distant 2nd place for # of COVID cases is Jefferson, which is 23.5% black as of 2000.

Speaking of different peoples reacting to the pandemic differently -- I should point out that in Europe, the average Muslim couldn't care less about the virus. They aren't cancelling a single Muslim ANYTHING. They are proceeding completely business-as-usual.
