Add me to the list. I got back routine blood work plus tests for CÖVÌD antibodies, rheumatoid factor, Lyme disease. Tested + for CÖVÌD antibodies, but not for the disease, + for rheumatoid, - for Lyme. Exactly as I expected. Doctor still wanted me to take ναccιnє, but I told him no. Surprisingly, he didn’t push the issue. I suspect maybe he hasn’t had it, either. So, when did I get CÖVÌD? This is going to sound off, but I believe I had it in April of 2019. It landed me in the hospital on O2, but not intubated. They said it was influenza with pneumonia on top. The latter was confirmed by blood and sputum tests, but influenza tested negative for the prevailing strain and for four variants. They said it was “par-influenza.” Meaning, a flu-like virus, not identified. The first symptom was a dry cough followed by complete loss of taste and smell. The next day I spiked a 102.5 F fever, had vomiting, hard chills, was so out of breath I had to crawl to my bed from the bathroom. Somehow, I drove to the ER. Upon arrival, they came out with a wheelchair as I could barely walk. I was there for 10 days, two in ICU because they were thinking it could be meningitis. Then I was put in isolation. The entire end of the hall had single room patients, all of whom had the same hacking cough. Here’s why I think it was either CÖVÌD or a predecessor; I was living in a studio apt. in a coöp building full with mainly Chinese nationals. On my job, I worked with the young children of many Chinese nationals. The children were talking among themselves about a sickness in ƈhıną and in the community. A number of them had stopped going to swimming or martial arts lessons. Several informed me that they weren’t going to church because old people were getting sick and some had died. There were two such children whose grandmothers had died. Kids would have no reason to make this stuff up, and the regular seasonal flu was making the rounds.
I recovered, but my sense of taste and smell has never fully returned, and it’s not the same. For example I cannot stand the smell or taste of roasted beef. To me, it smells exactly the same as #2. 💩 I can’t eat certain chicken, either, because it smells fleshy, almost raw. 🐔. I no longer like chocolate, especially dark chocolate, or strong coffee. It smells/tastes vaguely of gasoline. I DO like vanilla, almost crave it at times. Another thing I crave is oatmeal and oatmilk. Before, I had no particular like or dislike for oats. I also now love barley and tapioca. (I’m turning into a horse? 🐴).
One thing is for certain, I have not been majorly sick since the alleged first appearance of CÖVÌD in the USA.
If any honest researchers are out there, no attachment to money or politics, I’d be interested in participating in research. My conclusion is that if what I had was CÖVÌD, it was circulating among the Chinese community in the US starting in December of 2018 or January-March of 2019, a full year earlier than is presently believed. Time will tell.
