    • This was in my e-mail and I thought it might be of interest to some.  I am in the Washington State University Extension Service Master Gardener program but other than growing forage and grain crops I’ve never had much of a “green thumb” … still, I strive one.
     
    These online classes look really good.  While geared toward western Washington climate and soils (I live in eastern Washington) the information will be useful.  I’m sure anyone can sign up, you don’t have to live in Washington as far as I know.
     
    And, as far as I know, every state has a Master Gardener program, just type Master Gardener and your state’s name into a search bar to find local connections, resources, and information.

    • I might be interested in these classes, though they are probably geared toward western Washington climate, rather than central WA climate where I live. 

    It appears that the classes will be a zoom meeting format, but a recording can also be viewed later by those who are registered. Looks like a lot of good info at the classes, and since they are supposed to be for growing sustainable food, I assume that it will be about growing things organically (I hope).

    • I totally am not able to do zoom classes with the little boys...  But, we do attempt gardening through trial and error and I read and learn what I can when I can.

    Maybe those of you who take the class can share some of what you learn with the rest of us in shortened version?  :popcorn:
