I recently learned that, in some cultures alien to the one in which I was raised, people do their seasoning, "all infusing," and "healthy dosing" of spices to their meat, not in a bowl, but right in the sink itself.

Personally, even the thought of this method strikes me as revolting, but, I'm curious, Poche, if you are familiar with this culinary practice, as demonstrated by this lovely and erudite lady:


I am unfamiliar with that cultural practice.

Reasons one should not do potlucks:  Changing diapers or scooping up dog feces without proper hand washing; hair—animal or human; coughing/sneezing; the house VIP (the cat) probably got the first sample; and the slop was probably mixed up in a sink.

Today for dinner I had fried eggplant with sweet potato and brown rice all covered in a thick roux.
