I'm the main meal chef for three weeks.  Last evening I made stuffed cabbage, mashed potatoes, and steamed the remainder of the cabbage in wedges with anise seeds.  Iced tea was the beverage.  My parents split the last cinnamon coffee roll for dessert.  I'm trying to reduce tonnage, so I've been sticking to fruit or going without.

Tomorrow is the monthly 80+ luncheon at the Glenridge Club.  I don't know which entrĂ©es are on the menu, usually a choice of meat, fish, or vegetarian.  Since I'm two decades too young to attend, I'll scrounge up a sandwich or something.

Wonder if Poche has gone on a diet?  If so, maybe carp, chicken, and collard greens can come off the endangered species list.

Right?! Poche, you're slipping, my man. Whatever happened to the Definitely-Dead-By-50 diet you normally have?
I am way older than 50.
