Then I am happy for that! Mankind is always free to decide on these things.
We are too inclined to take things lying down.
As they insist: my body, my choice! Good for the goose - good for the gander!

The other thing is they have something called a "wellness visit" and heaven forbid you wish to discuss a specific physical problem or malady at the wellness visit.  I was told I could either have a wellness visit or the doctor could address my ongoing cough.  If I wanted my cough taken care of, I had to make another appointment for a wellness visit.  :furtive:

My husband, unfortunately, is a smoker.  One time I asked the doctor to talk to him about continuing smoking with his chronic heart trouble.  Later, I found out that we were charged $75 for that.

One last thing, when you are asked "do you have any questions", just say no.  Anything you ask unrelated to the specifics of your current visit, you will be charged for.
If you are charged for two separate visits because you addressed two matters (e.g., "wellness" and "cough") in one appointment, that likely constitutes criminal "fraud and abuse." If that happened, you might ask your doctor about such double-billing. Be sure to use the phrase "fraud and abuse" in your question. You should expect to be "fired" from that doctor's practice after you ask the question.

I do not think that is prudent advice. The question may help your doctor uncover a life-threatening problem. Failing to ask the question then, prevents the doctor from making a potentially life-saving intervention.

If you are open with the Big Pharma Doctor, you will be forced prescribed drugs. If you refuse the drugs, then you will be labeled as paranoid or anxious or whatever the new diagnostic APA code applies.

Furthermore, all the diagnostic codes that the doctor lists on the form (including resisting drug treatments) are available to the Federal Government and all other doctors.

I do not go for my monthly wellness visits as they are a waste of time. Instead, I visit the doctor once or twice a year, no more. He is about to "fire me" as a patient, but at this point, I do not care. He is worthless. If I get sick, then I consult my herb book and take a natural remedy.

Resist. We are sheep no more.

I fully understand your approach… BUT…

Consider an example. If you are pooping blood or have a cough, you may have a pre-cancerous condition or a tiny cancer that can be completely cured by a procedure (cut it out).

If you don't care to prevent or cure a cancer, why even consult your herb book?

BTW there are thousands of "natural" toxins.

As my dear mother so wisely advised, "Don't cut off your nose to spite your face."
