I'm becoming quite a fan of a good beer. What are some of the beers from smaller brewers that you like? I see an amazing array at the store and hate to buy a six pack of each so would like to read some reviews
I like Sierra Nevada Pale Ale although spicy food will overpower it. I don't like IPAs or Guinness.

But I DO like Guinness. Guinness EXTRA STOUT, that is.
(Guinness Draft, in the bottles, is a joke, not even in the ballpark.)
AD - I'm just looking for personal recommendations, what brands do folks like, not a technical discussion of beer.
I expected dozens of responses as I too assumed TCs would be beer drinkers.
Maybe I should revise the thread to "Favorite Adult Beverages"

There is a restaurant chain called Oggi's Pizza & Brewing Co., where you can get an 8-beer sampler, with 8 small glasses of different micro brewery beers, about 3 oz. each. So that's 24 oz. of beer. And it's actually cheaper than two 12 oz. singles (about $9). So you can try them all. One is usually a lot like Guinness, though, so beware. I kind of wish they were ALL like Guinness!!
Guinness Extra Stout & Jägermeister chaser.
Bailey's Irish Cream on the rocks.
Vodka and orange juice, preferably Stolichnaya vodka and fresh squeezed OJ over crushed ice. Most bars can't deliver the FSOJ. There are a lot fancier (and more expensive!) vodkas, the quality of which is recognizable when served straight, below freezing a few degrees (most bars can't deliver the 'proper' temperature), but when mixed with OJ you don't notice the difference that much, so Stoli I think is a solid standard, because it's reliably
smooth.
Obviously, when mixed the Vodka can't be below freezing.
Surprisingly, a nice, readily available beer (in the USA, anyway) is Coors, especially ice cold on a hot day.
Rocky Mountain Spring water!
