  • Psoriasis is a Greek term meaning itching condition, psora meaning itch and sis meaning condition, it refers to chronic pruritic dermatological condition. Red scaly patches appear on the skin with itching. Red scaly patches caused by Psoriasis or Psoriatic plaques appear on the skin of the elbows and knees.
