  • Patience is a conquering virtue. The learned say that, if it not desert you, It vanquishes what force can never reach; Why answer back at every angry speech? No, learn forbearance or, I'll tell you what, You will be taught it, whether you will or not.

  • We eat soups and salads daily along with fruit and smoothies, old fashioned oatmeal made with either raw milk or almond milk...also I make meat on Sundays and feast days and then a broth for our daily soups...all our food is organic and grass fed...I make them go out almost everyday for sunshine and walks and good old school play...my children don't like every meal but I they don't eat what I make then they'll be hungry until the next meal...we only do snacks on the weekends which are usually homemade popcorn(we don't use a microwave at all) chips with salsa and homemade banana bread...once in a while we will have the frozen cauliflower pizza because we live far from town and at the end of errand day mami (that's me) is too tired to cook...I try really hard to keep us healthy...my husband isn't as strict as me but he's on board

This was our golden rule. The children would eat what they got or nothing. They acquired a taste for a variety of foods.

Is cauliflower pizza an exotic American creation?

When I was a child my father always cooked porridge for Sunday evening meal. It only occurred to me a week ago (at 75) why he always did that. He was agreat husband and father.

  •  “(FYI, you can regrow your liver in 6 months, with proper nutrition).  99% of ailments are caused by nutrition deficiencies, so my suggestion to you (and to everyone), is to go buy a juicer and start juicing veggies/fruits.  Get these from a farmer's market or local health food store that sells organic stuff.  Fresh, GREEN leafy veggies, lemons, tomatoes, carrots, apples, squash, zucchinis, celery etc.  Lots of recipes out on the web but don't go overboard on fruits.  Use mostly veggies and lemons (lemons are so important).  Use apples or berries in small amounts, just to sweeten the taste.  Juicing citrus is a waste.”

The funny thing is cauliflower pizzas tend to have too many carbs to be Keto friendly.

Wow, I never knew anyone else who ate it that way.  Just had some with butter last week (spread on on plate then spread with butter).
Every morning I have it with maple syrup and almond milk.
