I had heard of "mewing" but I thought it was some likely ineffective, desperate technique to become more attractive. Like some special "stomach crunch" you can do to gain a 6-pack. That kind of thing.

And I thought this thread was a joke, and/or pointing out something ridiculous out there in the world.

But now I see it's serious business, no stranger than orthodontics.
Orthodontics has similar goals and succeeds: to enlarge one's mouth, make room for all teeth, make teeth straight with constant applied pressure, etc.

Of all the names though! "Mewing" sounds like something my cat would do...

I'm glad the doctor's last name wasn't Schitt.
