My feet are in excellent condition for my age. Why?  I’ve always worn well-fitted footwear.  No squeezing my feet into unnaturally shaped shoes for the sake of fashion.
Many women have foot problems with calluses, corns, bunions, hammertoes, nail fungus, shortened hamstring tendons, poor circulation…
I’m most comfortable going barefoot!
My problem with walking is arthritis in my knees, inherited from my mother’s side of the family. I used to walk for many miles, but cannot any more. I use a walking stick except around the house.

I watched the first few minutes and this looks like a very interesting video.  I have saved it on my phone to watch at small increments when I have time.

Like Seraphina, I also prefer to be barefoot at much as possible.  I even sometimes garden barefoot (as long as I am not using a large shovel to get weeds out or doing something where I might chop a toe off). 😅

Our boys wall and sometimes even run on gravel because they go barefoot so much that their feet are "hardened".   I always look forward to the warmer months when I can "hide the socks" and let him go outside in saddles or crocs. 😅

In the early 1950s, my Mom would wear high heel shoes, even when they would hurt. About 10 years later she had tremendous bunions: the big toes had a large calcium growth, so she suffered the rest of her life with soreness, and the difficulty of finding comfortable footwear, period.

Just be careful when walking barefoot: warning: Do Not walk near spruce trees!!

3 years ago I was walking barefoot to get energized, but I stepped on a spruce needle and got lodged -stuck - deep in the sole; part of it remained ... It only took two years before the body dissolved it...
Bad for the sole - Good for the soul! we all need some sort of mortification anyway.

My Mom loved going barefoot in the warm garden soil, even burying her feet in it. So I asked her to stop before she would dig six feet - hoe hoe

Collagen is a remedy for me.  I have severe arthritis and collagen in my water, replaces cartilage, which I see as truly amazing.  I had pain, but no more.  I had a cane for a year, and after a year of collagen, i have no pain and no cane.  I don't walk as much,. I am able to do all my house work and such.  I just can't walk a mile or so.  But I did not have hip replacement, no surgery.  I Thank God for very much.  I am age 73.
