That's a lot of Tele......i'll be impressed if you do.

Yeah, well at least I gave myself 18 months to get there, I may not make it - but I'll try.

My pull-ups are actually quite weak, I lifted before in my mid 20s but I only did bench, so my bench skewed a lot higher than everything else. (though I've done deadlift a couple years now so it's OK)  I've been signficantly overweight since I was 19 - that should end in a couple months.  I've had trouble with weight creeping back up every time I get under 200 lbs.  This time I will persevere.

I have a few years on you, but I lifted weights from a young age until my early thirties, since then I've concentrated more on stretching, core and cals with some cardio here and there. I boxed when I was younger and have always done the workouts since, a few rounds on the bags and skip rope a couple of days a week doing my cals on the off days. But I'm always stretching everyday.

I know some guys who powerlifted well into their fifties, so you have a lot of time.

But I was always taught to drop weight and lift less as you age.

Of course there's always exceptions out there.

Used to work out a lot, had 20 amateur fights, was in really good shape. That was 10 years ago, haven't worked out at all until recently. I started again because I was feeling depressed, all work and no fun and too much time in front of the internet. Have been feeling 100 percent better since I started running, just 25 minutes 3 times a week.

I enjoy fitness a lot.  I run, do plyometrics, spin, do pilates, and sometimes kickboxing style aerobics, although I suppose that isn't very feminine.  I miss going to the gym but do not have the time or money for that anymore so I work out at home.

I originally studied fitness/wellness in college and I enjoy discussions about exercise and health.
