I haven't used one for 20 years, after reading Mercola's "Ten reasons to throw out your microwave" which can still be found online. It is easy to heat up food on the stovetop with a bit of water, or toast it in a toaster oven. even faster, often. (I prefer a toaster oven with convection option because that can be useful).

Yes.  I never cooked with it but we would reheat left overs.  Toaster oven is good idea.
