These are some of the reasons we are anti-vax.
We have 7 children, and none of them have autism, allergies, auto-immune disorders, or any gut problems.
Has anyone noticed the explosion in child allergies over the past 30 years? Now every restaurant and ice cream shop has signs up that say, "Please tell your server if one of your party has an allergy." We have new packaging/labeling requirements. For example, the ingredients list for my honey roasted peanuts has a BOLD item at the end that says CONTAINS: PEANUTS. Manufactured in a facility that processes milk, soy, tree nuts, wheat. I'm not that old, but I'm here to tell you: it has not always been this way.
And for that matter, I remember having a brown bag lunch "auction" in 2nd grade. We bid up to 50 cents for each lunch (each person could only buy one, of course). But could you imagine that now? What if someone was allergic to peanuts, gluten, or something else? It would be a lawsuit waiting to happen -- they'd never do this today.
But what do you know! The vaccine schedule for children under 2 has exploded between the 1980's and today.
