So my wife is 8 months pregnant, and went in for a checkup today, and the doctors are concerned that the baby seems not to be growing enough (went from 45 percentile to 21st between checkups). It came out during the exam that my wife likely had covid a couple months ago, and they said that they are seeing a clotting problem in women who had covid, where small clots prevent enough blood from passing through the umbellical cord, and this is somewhat hindering physical growth. No idea yet whether there are any other physical or psychological/developmental issues associated with this problem. She'll have to see some specialist now about this, but this is not my main point.
My question is: Has anyone heard of clotting problems in UNVAXED women as a result of covid??? I never have. But if that is in fact an issue, then it would seem clotting gets you whether you get the vax or not. Or at least, it gets pregnant women.
Naturally, I'm suspicious of this clotting thing and am also wondering about vax shedding. Seems strange covid would result in a long-term clotting issue for unvaxed women (unless it was designed to do that).
