Its not just a matter of inefficacy of the jab, but the $1 million question is:

Had they not been jabbed, would they have contracted covid (i.e., does the jab eliminate the immune response to facilitate infection)? The spike in cases since the rollout would indicate yes.

I believe the jab actually tempts fate as it were, and causes you to GET the boogeyman virus you most fear. And it's perfect justice too. You were trying to escape suffering, so it came and found you.

You can't cheat God. If God decided that suffering is what you needed, then certainly that was what you needed! No father is more loving or concerned for our welfare than God the Father. If He allows something for our good, it's for our good.

Trying to vaccinate against every inconvenient minor illness is somewhat blasphemous. As if to say God didn't give us an adequate immune system, we reject all suffering, we have zero trust in God, or some combination of the three.

The BBC article said that the ship had been deployed for 7 weeks. Where did the COVID come from when the entire crew had been isolated for 7 week on the ocean. Clearly, either everything they say about COVID and the vaccine is bunk or everything they say about the vaccine and COVID is bunk.

Perhaps it was just another virus that the bogus antigen and PCR tests detect as false positive. I mean flu outbreaks on ships at sea do happen, the virus just has to be transported and preserved somehow.
