Exactly.
I appreciate your efforts on this topic. I am unable to upvote you in this or the thread you started. Apparently I'm out of happy bullets. But what I really cannot understand is how this subject can become a controversy. To me it's a no brainer, and yet there are a couple of people making a very big deal out of it on the negative side. Kind of blows my mind.
That St. Louis Marie took the time to put those quotes in his book on True Devotion to our Lady and preparation for consecration to Her Immaculate Heart is sufficient proof that it is not an unwholesome thing to wear the Rosary as a sacramental. It's a blessed object and it is worn with the intention of being devoted to Our Lady. Are there not enough troubles in this world, that we should make even more?
All that being said, I do agree with Miseremini insofar as this: I think the Rosary worn outside his shirt by our 17 year old selfie addict is EXTREMELY disedifying. I would counsel him to stop it, but he probably won't take the advice of an old bag. He knows better, you see .........
I think Miseremini would have done better to discredit him personally for doing something very particular and distasteful, than to attempt to discredit the rather very creditable practice of those drawn to it by the right reasons.
