    likely more walking involved visiting a foreign country, probably more relaxed ... on vacation, food much different with all the garbage contributing to obesity greatly restricted if not banned, etc.
    Yes, but I think is also urban design: European cities are more compact, and houses, shops, and work areas are mixed together. You can go walking to many places. But in USA you have suburbs: Neighborhoods where you only have houses, houses and more houses. And you have to use the car to go anywhere.

    • 16oz of water weighs 1lb, so 1lb is a meaningless change in weight depending on when someone last drank or used the bathroom.

    At what point do these differences matter, however?  You use race as an example.  What if the average for green-eyed women was 42 weeks.  If your wife had green eyes, would you consider this average significant, or would you say eye color has no bearing on child bearing, and so the statistic is useless?  What if it was something like height?  The state you live in?  The language you speak?  etc?

    Fittest. That's my point, I grew up around blacks, many were naturally fit, but they also had more than their share of fatties than whites. And their diet is terrible, southern fried everything. But they were a lot more healthier years ago than now, just like whites.

    Statistically non-whites are more obese than whites. Blacks can look more lean due to how light reflects off the skin. Also a lot of guys nowdays train using performance enchanting drugs.
