My husband and I have two cups of tea each day.
In the morning, after his after-breakfast walk, he has a tea made with grated ginger root, honey and lemon. He has it strained and hot/warm. I have mine unstrained. I get all the ginger and lemon pulp. I let it stand all day so it gets stronger and have it cool or add ice if the weather is hot. Delicious!
After our evening meal we have a combination tisane made with 1 camomille teabag, 1 peppermint teabag, lemon grass, lemon balm, lemon verbena, and thyme, the last four all dried from our garden. We add honey and lemon to taste and have it hot. Great stuff.
Always avoid drinks which are artificially sweetened.
