    Dear Parishioners,
     
    During a priory outing on Monday, Fr. McFarland was in an accident, suffering non-life-threatening injuries. However, he has broken his collar bone, several ribs, a shin and has dislocated an ankle, and has a punctured lung. Surgery today went well, and he should be released from the hospital at the end of the week. At this time, no visitors are allowed.
     
    As you can imagine, these injuries will limit Father’s abilities for the next few weeks, so we ask your patience as the other parish priests do their best to cover for him.
     
    Please offer prayers for Fr. McFarland’s quick recovery.

    • These seem like some pretty severe injuries for an “outing”. Was it a car accident? I hope and pray for a quick recovery.
