Well modest clothes in general aren't too bad.  You can find long skirts just about anywhere for not too much $.

The modest swimwear is probably pricey because it is a specialty item and not something from a mainstream retailer.

...and yes, kids are great!

Well I think it;s just because women are more willing to pay more for less...

I have really kind of fallen in love with thrift stores and garage sales.  It takes a little more time to find things that work, but it is worth it.  I have always loved clothes and it is nice to be able to get something for just $2-3 dollars.  

Living so frugally has been a very, very good thing for me.
