  • One of our boys has had the chicken pox for the past few days.  Apparently aloe vera and creams make the pox sting more but all-natural baby powder helps soothe and dry out the pox.

One of the little boys of a friend of mine had a fever above what the thermometer could measure and as a last effort to try something to help him before taking him to the emergency room she gave him a bath in lavender oil and it broke his fever!
When my children got the chicken pox last summer I used neem oil with lavendar and frankinsense on their pox(es?}.
Then I gave them lots of vitamin c...like 2000mg daily from a green powder mixed with juice.
Jesus Meek and humble of heart make my heart like unto thine

Oh!  Good to know!  If either of the other boys get the pox I will have to remember that!  Thank you!  🥰

  • Pine needles have a substance called Suramin, which was isolated as a drug/ cure for autism that was purposefully taken off the market many years ago. I never read that it had any side effects. I think you can still find it overseas- maybe India. I don't think the pine needle tincture is concentrated enough for the amount of Suramin needed to be thereaputic, but it's worth a try.

I knew pine needles were a good source of vitamin c and helped with scurvy but I didn't know about it helping with autism.  I have made teas with pine needles and raspberry leaves without any side effects.  🥰

Suggestions for keeping swelling down during pregnancy and keeping blood pressure under control? I always wind up on BP meds during pregnancy and I hate it.

I’m trying a whole new nutrition regimen during this pregnancy and I’m hoping I see good results, but I am always interested to hear what has worked for others.

  • Brushing with activated charcoal and oil pulling 9/10 will take care of a sore tooth for both my husband and I.

    Activated charcoal for stomach
    Bugs or food poisoning.

Peppermint oil for nausea during pregnancy (or any time).

Mullein to help clear the lungs.

Strongly brewed chamomile tea drank before bed for reflux/heartburn.

Apple cider vinegar (diluted with water) daily in the morning for reflux.

    Magnesium lotion for better sleep.

Collagen to strengthen joints, strengthen hair and nails and to heal broken bones or joints quickly.

Citrus essential oils to lift your mood. My favorites are grapefruit and lime!

Tea tree oil to dry up cold sores and zits and to cure gingivitis.

Those are the ones that we do regularly that I can think of off the top of my head!

From what I have heard the biggest thing it not overexerting oneself.  Taking naps and putting your feet up in a elevated position higher than your heart can help.

I know people who had pre-eclampsia and were put on almost complete bed rest for the last couple or few months of their pregnancy.

I didn't know about the chamomile helping with heartburn!  I knew it helped with sleeping because it has natural magnesium in it.  My husband gets heartburn a lot I will have to share what you told me with him!  Thank you!

The midwives I used advised Epsom salt baths or increasing magnesium through supplements. Ancient Minerals is an oil that is very well absorbed applied to your skin without some of the gastro disturbance that some magnesium supplements can cause. I hope you can avoid the medication that you don't like.
