And a big thanks to L. for the paypal gift!
And a hearty thank-you to two others, who sent me items off my Amazon wish list. ($9 pack of varactor diodes a couple weeks ago, and a $6 pack of mosfet transistors yesterday). I look forward to building radios with these parts!

P.S. For the first time, I'm 100 years old according to this formula: round your age to the nearest decade. Now round that number to the nearest 100. Remember: 5 and above rounds UP, 4 and lower rounds DOWN. Last year, I would have ended up at 0 years old. This year, I am 100 years old. hahaha

Apparently I posted in this thread too late, when it was ready to scroll off into oblivion.
