  • That's pretty cool.  I'm pretty satisfied with Google Earth.

I saw a video of this on YouTube

Sounds like a mosquito and has four LED lights that make it look really cool in the dark. In the YT video the guy does flips with it.

The downside is the battery life is six minutes with a 2 hour recharge time. The other downside is the camera has to be activated manually before take off. Final downside is SD card of course is separate purchase.

Other than that I think it would be cool to go out and chase birds and rabbits with the thing.

Ah, I see your point.  I always saw those camera drones as a way to get some pictures from way above your home.

That would be useful to chase away birds and squirrels from my fruit trees.

  • If you shoot them with an airgun new ones move it I guess, but how long before you deplete the population enough that they don't feed on your trees?

I have some very productive mature hazelnut trees in my garden but squirrels obliterate them.  One year I'd like a bucket of hazelnuts.

It is simple math, for every squirrel you shoot, two will take it's place.
