    • Extremely unlikely.  Even more today then it was yesterday.

    There has been as of the latest weeks some serious tangible steps toward cooperation over the Iraq issue.  The leaking - or in fact the outright official disclosure -  of the NIE today suggest even further that a general deal as been reached between the U.S. and Iran over Iraq.

    Indeed.

    In fact this NIE, which was made public intentionally changes the whole narrative in the ME .  There is simply no more rationale for an Unilateral attack against Iran. It will take a little while to adjust our focal lens to this new reality.
