Isn't the state of grace the same as not commiting a mortal sin or repenting after a sin post baptism?

As far as I know it's avoiding sin and repenting and saying you're sorry when you do sin. Thus why saying the Act of Contrition every night is a great idea, and also the Confiteor if you know how to say it.

  • State of grace actually means a share of God's life.  Since God is sinless, we too must be free from sin, at least mortal sin.

For me, it makes it EZ if I think about when I sin, I am actually nailing His hands and feet to the Cross.  That always makes me stop, and listen to His voice, and the voice of Mary speaking to my soul.
    Please pray for my soul.

  • For me, it involves frequest reception of God's Grace through His Sacraments (Reconcilliation and Eucharist), and daily prayer.

May God bless you in your walk with Him.

  • Make a good Confession every week or two!!!

Here are seven reasons why I like the "Latin Mass" parish:

#5 Since confession is offered so frequently, our family is going to confession on an almost weekly basis. I am finding that this is the secret to happy family life. The priests have also given me many tips in pointers in order to establish a nightly family Rosary.
