Yes, it's more likely that instead of the "evolutionary" past sold us by the Jєωs, that in the time before Abraham and maybe even afterwards there were advanced civilizations, that now take the catch-all name "Atlantis," that had the same technology or better that we do today.  Tablets from Sumeria show what look to be UFOs, no one knows how the pyramids were built, etc.  

The earth was most likely presided over by deformed fallen angels who hid behind earthly kings that they controlled -- as far-fetched as this sounds.

This all has Biblical proof in the famous quote of Genesis:  "Now giants were upon the earth in those days. For after the sons of God went in to the daughters of men and they brought forth children, these are the mighty men of old, men of renown."  This clearly speaks of angels mating with humans and giving birth to the race of Cain.  Many have drawn a parallel between these giants and a figure like Goliath, for instance.

I often wonder if "Adam and Eve" are not symbolic of a whole race of humans who were interfered with by the "snake," who are the "sons of God" or fallen angels.   Perhaps if we go into the Fall in more detail, we'd find that Eve was seduced away from her human husband by a demonic interloper?  That God had somehow separated humans from the fallen angels but the fallen angels crept in to the Garden?  

I don't know, I'm just speculating.  But it fits in with Christ's words about the "seed of the serpent" and the "seed of the woman."  This theme runs all throughout the Bible, bad blood vs. good blood, Cain vs. Abel, Jacob vs. Esau, Judas vs. Christ, etc.

This is one of my many interesting having to do with the "paranormal". Its a branch of the "Ancient Astronaut" theory (which is entirely bogus). The evidence is overwhelming that ancient man was far more intelligent than modern. We're just rediscovering everything that they have already done in the antediluvian past. Oh yeah, and interestingly if someone asks "if they were so advanced, then why were they carving in stone?" then look at paper, it doesn't last. Carving things in stone is the best way to ensure its survival.
