  • "...and the Word was made flesh..."

    "...concupiscence of the flesh..."

    "...fleshpots of Egypt..."

    ON AND ON...

I could argue all kinds of things with respect to NEVER using certain words, as all words represent certain ideas, all of which have their contraries.  St. Vincent de Paul was likely pleasing to God in his particular dislike of a particular word.  That does not make such desirable on a universal scale.  As I said, if we all adhered to the same, and at ALL times, we could not even go to confession.  The confessor would say, "What species of sin, my son?" and I would have to answer, "I cannot tell you, Father."

I noticed that caio also had an EENS blog linked in the signature.  Shall we guess that the blog, its 'owner' and its supporters deny BoB and BoD as extraordinary ways to receive the grace of the ONE sacrament of Baptism?  For those who may not know, the error involved in denying BoD and BoB is similar to Jansenism, etc., in the too strict vision/interpretation of what God has revealed to men.

Please do not speak freely about things that should not be spoken of freely; for the rest, know that we are both body and soul, and the Word did, in fact, become FLESH!
"Fear God, and keep His commandments: for this is all man."
