  • Interesting article about a book written by a young Father Wojtyla.  More evidence that he was a Communist plant, a Pax priest.

    http://catholicphilly.com/2014/10/news/world-news/debate-emerges-over-st-john-paul-iis-early-writings/

    Quote
“The Catholic Social Ethic” was bound in a cheap underground edition of 300 copies at the request of students at Krakow’s Jagiellonian University in 1953 and 1954, when other books on Catholic social teaching had been suppressed by Poland’s communist rulers.

It provides no evidence that then-Father Karol Wojtyla had any direct political affiliation. However, it shows he had acquired, by his early 30s, a detailed knowledge of Marxism and some empathy at least with its strident critique of capitalism.

I think he's telling us that JP II had strong Marxist leanings and wrote about it in one of his early writings.

With the novus ordo, every time you lift a rock you find not just soggy dirt, but spiders, cockroaches, snakes and scorpions and some human bones.

  • It paths the way to the anti-Pomp, egalitarian, Miserablist Church of the Poor that Pope Francis represents today.
If anyone says that true and natural water is not necessary for baptism and thus twists into some metaphor the words of our Lord Jesus Christ" Unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Spirit" (Jn 3:5) let him be anathema.

You're so simple-minded, Myrna, unable to make distinctions, aren't you?  That shows both with regard to your sedevacantism and your rejection of EENS.

Agreed, but there is an evil purpose in the Communist ideas that have infiltrated the Church in recent times. If the focus resides solely in egalitarianism at all levels and "helping the poor", then the Church becomes a political organization dispenser of social services, instead of the Supernatural and Divine Bride of Christ, which is the only means of human salvation and life everlasting.

This ends in Humanism without God, without Christ. This is what is called "horizontal religion", whose objective is man, instead of "vertical religion" whose primary object is God. It means loving and serving man, while disregarding God. Basically it means replacing love of God by love of neighbor.

In these times, humanitarian efforts have come to supersede the primary missionary goal: the conversion of souls. The spiritual aim of conversion is being overridden by purely humanitarian works.

  • It was a real failure that Vatican II expressly refused to condemn Communism. It should have done so but all of the Communist ideas and methods were already infiltrated in the Church Hierarchy. Examples of these ideas include: Christian Socialism, Liberation Theology, "the preferred option for the poor", the Pastoral Land Commission, etc, etc.

The Devil has been really busy for the past century trying to completely demolish Holy Mother Church. The battle is not of blood but of ideas.

What could have been expected?  It's impolite to not dance with the one who brought you to the ball.

And how can you single out one thing about Vatican II and say "it was a real failure that such & such did/didn't come out of Vat II."  That wording makes it sound like a lot of good came out of Vat II, maybe a little ineptness, and that its failure to condemn communism was perhaps the worst thing about the council.

Instead of saying "Church of the Poor," spiritually bankrupt "church" would probably be a more apt description.
