  • Congratulations on the new baby boy. I would envy you for your family if envy were not a sin.

  • Congrats, Matthew and Mater! Very happy for you. May God bless little Thomas Leo and make him a saint. He's such a beautiful baby.
"We wish also to make amends for the insults to which Your Vicar on earth and Your Priests are everywhere subjected [above all by schismatic sedevacantists - Nishant Xavier], for the profanation, by conscious neglect or Terrible Acts of Sacrilege, of the very Sacrament of Your Divine Love; and lastly for the Public Crimes of Nations who resist the Rights and The Teaching Authority of the Church which You have founded." - Act of Reparation to the Sacred Heart of Lord Jesus.

  • Congratulations on the birth a your little boy! Thomas is a wonderful name - the name of my youngest son too. He was named after his great-grandfather.

Prayers that your dear wife will have a good and speedy recovery.

I don't know, Matthew.  Doesn't look all that much like you.  You might want to check with Mater.   :laugh1:

Oh, wait, if I visualize a beard, the resemblance is uncanny.

In the neighborhood we used to live in some years ago, there were FOUR pregnant women all due within a month of each other.  So I joked with them one time, inquiring whether there had been a good-looking UPS driver substituting during that time.

It's strange how that happens. I have about a dozen cousins all within a month or two of my age, so my mother and all her aunts must've all gotten pregnant at roughly the same time despite getting married years apart. For some of them they'd already had other kids, but for most it was all the eldest. Weird how it works out.

And 3 of my 6 children all have birthdays within a week each other.  Last week was "birthday week" in our family.

    April 2, April 4, April 5.

Would have been cool if they had all been born the exact same day.  I've seen some articles which appear to prove that the first Easter Sunday was on April 5.  So that would put my kids' birthdays on Holy Thursday, Holy Saturday, and Easter Sunday.

Of course the children don't want a joint birthday, understandably, because each one wants their own special day.
